One question. A written first look.

Bring us one question about costs, operations, a transaction or workforce benefits. We review a limited set of information and send a short written note.

No documents are needed to start. It costs nothing and doesn't commit you to anything.

What we may ask to review.

The right starting point depends on your question and the records you have. These are examples of what we may ask for after your inquiry, not what you need to start.

  • Cost recovery audit. One vendor or expense category: one month of invoices or statements, plus the pricing terms if available.
  • Restaurant consulting. One operating question: three recent months of P&Ls for the locations involved.
  • Buy & sell advisory. One transaction or preparation question: the most recent full-year P&L, the location list and a rough timeline. A starting point, never enough to value the business.
  • Workforce benefits. One benefits or workforce-cost question: for benefits, a summary of current benefits and perks and what they cost; for turnover, headcount, hires and departures over the last year, in totals, with no individual records.

A limited review. A specific answer.

  1. Start with one question.

Tell us which cost, operating, transaction or benefits question needs a second look. No files are needed for the first inquiry.

  2. Share a focused sample.

When appropriate, we identify the records needed to check that question and agree on how to exchange them. A sample may cover only a small number of locations and a limited period.

  3. Receive a written note.

We explain what was reviewed, what the information supports, what remains uncertain, and whether broader work makes sense.

The diagnostic is a limited review of the information relevant to your question. It does not include a complete historical audit, full operational analysis, business valuation, or comprehensive benefits evaluation.

What you receive.

A short written note in three parts.

  • What the information shows. What the records reviewed support, for the question you asked.
  • What remains uncertain. What the information can't settle, and what more it would take.
  • What comes next. The next reasonable step, and whether one of our services is relevant.

If the information does not support a concern, we will say so. The note may also conclude that more information is needed.

Questions.

Is the first review really free?

Yes. It carries no fee and does not commit you to further work. Any broader work would be scoped and agreed separately.

Do I need to send documents with this form?

No. No documents are needed to submit this form. We'll review your request, identify what information would be useful, and agree on how to exchange it.

Will you calculate what this means for my whole group?

Not from a limited sample. We report what the material reviewed supports; we don't multiply it across every location or the year. Group-wide amounts and actual results require broader work.

What if the sample does not show a problem?

You will still receive a short written note on what was checked and what the information supports. We will not describe an unproven difference as an opportunity.

Is this also a free valuation or audit?

No. The diagnostic answers one question from a limited set of information. A valuation, a full audit, an operating assessment or a benefits evaluation is separate work, scoped and agreed with you first.
